Ninja - Character Design Workflow
This project was a thorough character design test, aiming to establish a streamlined workflow for design, creation, animation, and rendering. Starting with sculpting the character base in ZBrush and rigging it in Blender, the process moved on to clothing simulation in Marvelous Designer and topology cleanup in ZBrush.
After completing the base, the character was painted and textured in Substance Painter. Using this foundation, a custom groom was created for the character's hairstyle. Motion capture data was then used to animate the character, with physics-based motion cleanup applied before applying it to the rig.
The project concluded with real-time rendering of the character in Unreal Engine 5, demonstrating the integrations of tools and techniques used.
